A Message From Our Executive Director, Desiree Johnson
Each day at River City Domestic Violence Center is about our commitment to survivors! Though there are moments of uncertainty in our community and across the world, right now, one thing is for sure--we are committed to providing a spectrum of essential services to those experiencing abuse: 24 hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter and safety planning while following the best practices of our local emergency planning committee as well as the CDC. RCDVC has worked tirelessly to implement a safety procedure for our clients during the outbreak of this illness. We fully support the recommendations of social distancing during this critical time; however, we are also aware that this type of isolation creates situations where victim safety is even further challenged. We are here for your individual safety planning and Safe Haven needs. We are here to listen during your moments of uncertainty. We are here to lend guidance in your darkest hours. “WE BELIEVE” the voices of survivors! For YOU, we are here, 24 hours a day| 605.665.1448
