A Guardian Angel is often seen as a protective and nurturing figure, assigned to guide and protect someone as they journey through life. The River City Domestic Violence Center and River City Family Connections agencies partner together each day to provide services to men, women, children and families who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. The Guardian Angel Program is designed to provide financial assistance for emergency services for domestic violence victims from the River City Domestic Violence Center, and child abuse victims from the River City Family Connections.
The Guardian Angel program is a one year commitment. During that year, each Guardian Angel will be called upon to donate $100.00 to provide an emergency need for a domestic violence or child abuse victim from either RCDVC or RCFC. The Guardian Angel provides $100.00 to put towards an emergency need within five days of the call.
*All donations are tax deductible and provide great relief and hope to victims in their time of need.
