It's On Us 2018
Yankton is a small, close knit community. A community where people band together to help the greater good. Sometimes these wonderful things our community is known for, can mask some of the struggles our community faces. Yankton is NOT immune to family violence. Family violence is a growing issue in our community. It is up to all of us to band together. If you witness family violence, we encourage you to report it- we encourage you to be safe, but that does not mean ignoring the problem if you see it happening. When you reach out and help a person who is struggling with violence in the home... you never know how many lives you may be saving.
